I have already done two years of college in Florida at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. You cannot imagine a more typical college experience — the huge classrooms, college parties, sorority events, and Starbucks runs. While acquiring a great experience and countless stories from my time there, I knew it wasn't meant for me, and there was something greater for me out there beyond the typical college route.
When I first started looking at transferring to universities abroad, I knew I wanted more than just a degree — I wanted an experience that would change the way I see the world. Rome instantly stood out to me. There’s something about this city that feels alive in every sense: the art, the history, the energy in the streets, and the way people truly live here.
Studying in Rome has been more than an academic choice; it’s been a personal one. Every walk through Trastevere, every espresso break, every conversation with people from all over the world has taught me something new about culture, creativity, and connection. Living here has pushed me out of my comfort zone, inspired me endlessly, and reminded me how much there is to learn beyond the classroom.
Rome isn’t just where I study, it’s where I’ve grown, adapted, and found new perspectives that continue to shape both my personal life and my creative work.
